Dreams come true at Legoland!

WARNING - very long blog posting. Sit down for this one....

This weekend Brian and Jamie took a trip to Billund, Denmark to see Legoland. Jamie has wanted to go there since she was 3 years old! Hope you enjoy the adventure with us....

Love,

Brian and Jamie

On the plane... we're on our way!

Here's Jamie in baggage claim in Billund... she very quickly found the tourist info desk and the LEGOLAND brochures!

Our first Legoland spotting.... notice the Legoland tower in the distance.

We're in Billund! The home of LEGOs!!!!

Our first Legoland sign... we had to take pictures by anything and everything that said Lego or Legoland on it.

We're almost there.....

We're here... the motherland!!!!!

This is the best day of my life... maybe...

Made it to our campground. Jamie trying out the playground.

This is where it all began... LEGO corporate headquarters!

We had dinner our first night at the Legoland Hotel. It was us, a giant life size Darth Vader, and about 200 kids.

Then we came home and built the Lego speed racers that we bought at the hotel. Brian was having a little trouble...

Day 2: We are about to enter the motherland!!!!

We walked through the gates and came across our first giant size Lego model. It was the palace for the King and Queen of Denmark.

Then Jamie lifted her head and looked past the palace to see about a 1,000 more giant Lego models and towns (it almost brought tears to her eyes :)
Here is a model of the A380, the biggest passenger airplane in the world

The Billund airport, made entirely of LEGOs

Copenhagen, Denmark - also made entirely out of LEGOs!
Look, is that Jamie and Mommy sitting by the river?

This is so much FUN!!!!

Look, a chimney sweep... Brian, isn't that what you were thinking of doing for a job when you first moved to London?

Or was it a street busker, playing your old Daryl tunes for all the passer by's...

Well, that was before you became the European Energy Czar :) Look at that, it is a scale model of an oil rig in the North Sea!

We could have looked at LEGO city all day! Here is a typical town in Holland.

The Lego people were even getting married... is this a sign?

After 2 hours of looking at Lego City we finally went on some rides. Not sure if all these rides are made for big kids like us.... tight squeeze.

Here we are on the Lego train....

Then we had a little building competition...

Brian built a colorful pyramid of LEGOs

Jamie's creation was a bit cooler!
Ah, isn't that cute.... well, it gets even cuter...

After our building competition, which Brian clearly lost, we went up in the Lego Tower

We sat in these seats right next to the operator...

There they are, those two red ones...

We rode it to the top where we had an amazing view of all of Legoland...

And just as we started coming down, Brian found this little Lego truck on the floor in the tower

He gave it to Jamie and said, 'Look at these doors in the back'. Jamie opened the doors.....

And found this inside!!!!!

And then Brian dropped on one knee (a little teary eyed) and said ' Jamie Lyn Rosen - Will you marry me?" And then Jamie exclaimed, 'is this for real!' as she laughed and hugged Brian Patrick Moore!
She said 'YES'!

Wow - what a beautiful ring... did Brian pick that out all by himself?!

This was cause for celebration... so we went on some more rides!
After a very full day at Legoland, we went back to our cabin to celebrate the day.
Life doesn't get much better than this! The best man in the world, Lego's, snackie-poos, wine, and chocolate!

Is that my cute fiance???!!!!

We're getting married!!!!
